My watercolour style has been described as “bold” and bordering on “impressionistic” style. I enjoy painting a number of subjects from macro floral, close ups of birds and automotive/motorcycle detail. The underlying theme to all my work is that there must be a strong sense of colour and form. I enjoy the ‘movement’ of watercolour and the sometime challenges that the movement brings! It’s always exciting to complete a piece and stand back to drink in the colours.
